What am I doing

Well this week ahs been good so far assignments are getting due but everything is still going fine.

Went to watch The Duchess with Shiyou and Diane yesterday. Was quite a good movie and all, really can't understand how the males were so chauvanistic and all last time. Its really appalling how it was. Have to say at least Bess was loyal enough to stay till the end and was a ... . Anyway what got me thinking today was a scene when Charles Grey asked G, why are you doing all this? Are you doing this to get the favor of the people and the love of the people around you? G gave a very interesting reply as well, she said I've been taught to live this way.

This got me thinking, are we all living our lives like this?to please others?Some would say no some would say yes. so what is it?
